Wrong Way. No Right Turn. Do Not Enter.
Detours are all around us. Whether we encounter them on the road or as hidden inconveniences throughout our daily life, detours are inevitable.
I would say it’s a pretty safe statement to claim that most of us go through life with some sort of idea of what we want to get out of it, what we want to achieve, or the type of person we hope to be. However, whether we are able to successfully attain these aspirations is not always a simple task. The road on which we all travel is never a smooth ride. We may have easy coasting periods throughout the journey, but obstacles often appear out of nowhere inextricably taking our life course off path, at least for a little while.
These experiences can be foreseen, but for the most part when we encounter a detour it is not expected. This blog discusses the various detours that I’ve encountered and will hopefully give readers insight on how to handle, or perhaps avoid their own situations in the future.
