I’m currently a senior at The University of Georgia and I’m a double major in two of my passions: Public Relations and Spanish.
I was born on the West coast, grew up in the Mid West and now reside in the South. After entering the college life a short four years ago, I have fallen in love with the Southern lifestyle. The atmosphere and overall ambience of the South’s way of life has taken a hold of me and I will never be able to go back. I am in the South to stay. Well, at least eventually—I plan to take my first steps post-graduation over international waters and move to Spain. I will be there at least a year, and who knows what life will throw at me after that? I love spontaneity, it enriches our lives more than we know.
I am positive public relations is one of my callings, however I also believe the Spanish language and culture fits into my life somewhere too. I am incredibly intrigued by their lifestyle, general demeanor and work ethic, (who doesn’t love a mandatory afternoon siesta??) that I have taken the initiative to uproot myself out of my comfort zone and become the foreigner for a while. I know this experience will change my life with high hopes it will enrich my passion for communicating even deeper.
